We're the Helm. Joe, Ryan, Bob, and Timm. Two dudes from Seattle, two from Tacoma. We started this band in October, 2004. We play hardcore the way that we remember it: fast, heavy, and with meaning. We mourn the slow death of sanity, and fear the advent of a society devoid of feeling. We appreciate those who still believe that hardcore isn't supposed to be "safe." That it should make us think and grow. That we can become better people from this. We play music because we love hardcore, and what it has the potential to be, not the empty shit that's passed off as such. We are here to destroy and rebuild. This is a rebirth.
